Artist's Statement:

My work is significantly influenced by the urban and natural landscapes of Melbourne. I aim to create an ambiance and discourse by freezing a moment in time. Digital photography and the computer support the conceptual and creative elements in my work.

My paintings vary from abstraction to contemporary realism using both acrylic and oils paints on canvas and board. I aim to utilise the influence of colour and have explored heightened colour. I also consider texture as an important element in creating a balance between compositional elements in my work.
