Harrington Square Traders and many creative artists
are holding an Art Market.
Coinciding with the Bayside Festival and the official
launch of PEEP SHOW, Harrington Square will also
host the following events:

The Art Market will coincide with the Hobson’s Bay Council’s Bayside Festival weekend and the official launch at 11am of the WRAN registered art event ‘Peepshow’ for Art in Public Places 2008.

The applicant agrees to indemnify and to keep indemnified WRAN its servants and agents, the owners, businesses and staff of Harrington Square and the Hobsons Bay City Council, and each of them from and against all actions, costs, claims, charges, expenses, penalties, demands and damages whatsoever which may be brought or made claimed against them, or any of them, arising from my participation, performance or purported performance of its obligations and directly related to the negligent acts, errors or omission by the applicant and their involvement with the 2008 Art Market at Harrington Square.
- All products for sale must be of the highest quality.
- Products must be hand made or handcrafted by the stallholder.
- For your application to be processed we require photos of your work.
- To minimise the stallholder fee you will need to supply your own table/gazebo and/or market umbrella for sun protection.
- The market management reserves the right to reject an application if it is deemed unsuitable for the Art Market.
- Stalls must be set up 15 minutes before advertised opening time.
- Stallholders are responsible for leaving their site clean and tidy.
- Tents, umbrellas and covers must be secure at all times.
- Stallholders using any type of gas or electricity must have a fire extinguisher and a fire blanket.
- It is the responsibility of the stallholder to trade in accordance with Market, State and Local Shire/Govt regulations and ensure that they conform to any Australian standards pertaining to their product.
- Cars may not move within the market area 15 minutes prior to and after the advertised market times for reasons of safety.
- Cars are to be parked away from the main Harrington Square car park during the market times.
- All stallholders must observe any parking restrictions in the area.
- Stalls must not pack up before the advertised closing time.
- Market organisers accept no responsibility for adverse weather and no refunds will be given for this reason.
- Notification of non-attendance is required.
- Market management accepts no responsibility for damages to persons or goods.
- Refunds for cancellation of stall booking/space will only be given only if notification is received in writing, 14 days prior to market date.
- No refunds can be given outside this condition due to administration and advertising costs.
- Please note WRAN is an organisation run by volunteers dedicated to supporting artists living and working within the Western Region of Melbourne.
